How can I make a picture downloadable online for a Motorola E815 to download?

Q. I found most if not All pictures on the web I cannot directly download to my phone unless they are bought for rediculous prices through my carrier. Is there any way I can upload pictures to a website specificly for E815's to download & not just view? (my E815 doesn't have the option to save pictures through the menu, or any other type of option.) I don't know if theres some script for it or a diff file type I need to use.
Sorry to long winded, thanx though!

A. Hi, I have taken tons of pictures that I've grabbed from the web and also from my photos that I have on my computer and put them on my E815 (I use them for the photo thumbnail that you have for each number -- that's so cool. That's why I got the phone.) For my sister I put a photo of my sister -- which you can do with current photos you have or you can do with the camera phone but you don't have to do it from a camera phone pic.

I also use things like a picture of a pizza for my pizzeria phone number, a picture of a caduceus for doctors, a picture of a tooth for my dentist, Fedex logo for Fedex, etc.

Anyway, this is what you do:

Simply "Send" the photos to your phone via email.

You send the email with the photos attached to YourPhoneNumber@vzwpix.com

(i.e., 203-555-1212@vzwpix.com)

I created it in my yahoo email contacts under Verizon Pix so I always remember it. You just attach the photos you want in your email and send it. I send 4-5 photos in each email because you will be charged a quarter for each email.

When you receive the message on your phone open it up. Disregard the message which may be blank or even claim there is a format error.

Just click on the RIGHT arrow key on your phone and it will show you the first photo. Then click on the Top Middle button on your phone (the one with the 4 little lines, above the wheel).

Select the following options:
SAVE ITEMS
FILE
STORE
Store only

It will show you some weird numbers and then your file name. You can rename it there and I recommend it as it is easier to find it later. Just click on the left arrow keys until you reach the part you don't want and press clear until the wrong letters/numbers go away and leave the file name or rename it.

Then you will be back in the message. Now click the right arrow key again and you'll see the 2nd photo... repeat the process above.

I assume you know how to assign each contact a picture. (if not, let me know)

There is another way to do it if you have a lot of pictures to upload at once on www.vzwpix.com.

You have to create an account at vzwpix. Upload the pictures and then send them to your phone. Similar thing, but then you have to log onto that website & I don't always feel like doing that.

If you have any more questions just email me at geniedance@yahoo.com

Good luck

Linda

How good is the Motorola Triumph at downloading and watching YouTube videos?
Q. The phone looks great! except for one thing, the download speed is terrible, about 300 kbps on average. The critics brush over the fact, but it must be terrible at watching downloading videos like YouTube. What's your experience like?

A. It's really good & really fast, actually.
The only thing that makes the phone slow in ANY way is the 3g. Fck 3g.
And I've never had videos buffer, or anything.
