Which motorola cell phones will work with the sim card from an i265?

Q. I need a new phone but I want to keep my sim card and just transfer phones. I tried the i95cl but apparently that won't work. I don't really understand all of this. Thanks for your help.

A. The sim from an i265 is too new for Nextel phones with a 2 digit model number( e.g. iXX). Nextel phones with a 3 digit model number( e.g. iXXX) should work with your sim card. Since Nextel is an iDEN carrier, only iDEN phones will work with it. You can use Boost Mobile and SouthernLINC phones as long as they are unlocked, but other than those, you are stuck with Nextel phones. GSM phones will not work on an iDEN network.

How to use Motorola Widgets on different phones?

Q. I really love my Motorola Cliq 2 because of the widgets it has. For example, there's a widget to have all of your messages in one spot, all of your friends' facebook status/tweets, and a widget to easily set your facebook status. Is there a way to get those Motorola widgets on phones that are not Motorola?

A. Possibly, if you can find a motorola based rom for the phone you have, if not then no. But there maybe look alikes on the market

How doe the verizon motorola droid x buy one get on free work?

Q. Does anyone know if I can use the free phone that they offer on another line on the plan? Does it have to be a new line or can I just use it with an existing line?

A. the buy one get one plans with verizon work like this .

*example* Lets say you and your brother both have an upgrade.
The droid X is about 200 dollars at upgrade.
Lets say - you bought the upgrade for 200 dollars, and then your brother applied for the free droid x.
you NEED a second line OR open a second line to get the second phone free.


o-o does that make sense?
