How do i tranfer music from my computer to my Motorola krzr ?
Q. I have a motorola krzr and i also have an old USB cord, but when i plug it in it doesn't detect the hardware is even plugged in. I have read people talking about a motorola phone tool kit or something like that. Do i need to buy extra stuff in order to do this? I tried going into the motorola website and i cant find the dowload. Plz help
Its a bit expeinsive online and @ the verizon store, does anyone know if the phone tool kit is sold @ best buy or any other store? Is there any site where i can just download it for free?

A. It is software that you can purchase. On the motorola site, look under accessories or just search the links. It is a media kit with a cd and transfer cable. Or the best way to find it is to go to the details of the Krzr on the Motorola site. It will give you links to anything you can buy for your phone. It should be in that list.

How do you put pictures from the Motorola Q Global phone to the computer?
Q. I'm trying to install my pictures from the Motorola Q Global phone to the computer but whenever I try to connect the phone to my computer and I go through the installation process it tells me that my device wasn't detected. I'm using connection port Com 1 while port Com 2 and Infrared port (IR) are both not installed. Also I've tried to setup my email on the phone but I can't find the underscore button. Please give me some advice.

A. 1. First you must have software installed on your computer. If you have a Mac you will have to find the software called The Missing Sync. http://www.markspace.com I believe is the website. If you have a PC then install the ActiveSync software that came on a CD in the box with your phone. If you don't have the CD or want to make sure you have the latest version of ActiveSync then visit http://www.microsoft.com. If however you have Vista then you need to use Windows Mobile Device Center. Please note that you shouldn't install ActiveSync on a Vista machine as this will cause issues. Make sure that you download Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 or the latest version from http://www.microsoft.com
2. After it is installed then you will get a Welcome to the Smartphone Sync Setup Wizard. If you do not want to sync with a full version of Microsoft Outlook then simply press Cancel to create a guest partnership. I recommend backing up your contact information on to your PC.

3. After you have created the partnership or simply pressed cancel you will see the WMDC or Activesync window. There will be an Explore button. Click the button and you will see the My Documents folder and My Windows Mobile Based device which is the root of your phones hard drive space. You should find your pictures in the My Documents folder. I would not suggest modifying any other folders in your phone as this could render your device useless. Your warranty would most likely be void by both your service provider and Motorola

To set up your email you will need to start to enter your email address. When you get to where the underscore key will go press FNC/ALT then Shift/CAPS and a hidden menu will appear to show you the symbols that didn't fit on the keypad. scroll to and select the _ and it wil be entered into the email field.

Good luck!
